What to Do

In addition to the on-site amenities at The Kierland Westin Resort, there are lots of fun things to do in the Phoenix area. Below are some of our favorites.

EAT & DRINK

There are amazing restaurants in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, so many we’ve yet to try. However, some of our favorites that we’ve been to include The Mission, Toca Madera, Cala Scottsdale, Diego Pops, Arcadia Farms Cafe. There area also many great places for drinks including Ghost Donkey, Châm Pang Lanes, Wine Girl (for the ladies), and of course the many bars in Old Town Scottsdale.

PLAY

Phoenix is home to major sports teams, of which the Arizona Cardinals (NFL), Coyotes (NHL) and Phoenix Suns (NBA) will be in-season during October. There’s also many great golf courses in the area, including three 9-hole courses on-site at the hotel.

EXPLORE

There are many great hiking trails within a short drive from Phoenix. If that’s not your thing, there’s lots of great shopping from the massive Scottsdale Fashion Square to boutiques in Old Town.
