Our Story
Our story began in Seattle, on December 3rd, 2019. We matched on a dating app (Bumble) and had our first date at The Matador in the Ballard neighborhood. Despite what was surely an awkward conversation, we quickly realized some things we had in common: both Leo’s, both college athletes, and both naturally goofy personalities.

Only after three short months of dating, the COVID-19 pandemic began, leaving us quarantined together in Jamie’s 1-bedroom apartment in the Queen Anne neighborhood. In addition to dating, we were suddenly also roommates and desk mates, which surprisingly felt very natural. After Jamie asked Scott on a walk along the waterfront of Myrtle Edwards Park, we officially moved into an apartment together, six months after our first date.

Almost 3 years worth of memories later and we’ve traveled to new places together, sampled countless breakfast burritos, and introduced a pup, Mia, to our little family. On June 4th, 2022, Scott popped the question on Whidbey Island while doing one of the things we love most which is playing with Mia on a beach, and Jamie said yes. We can’t wait for this exciting new chapter to begin!
